« She plays more like a ratchet crackhead » 😂 I think I enjoyed your analyses much more than watching the actual film. It does sound like a Lifetime movie 😉

IronBat says:

looks like i'm going to remove this from my Hulu watch list

T La says:

I'm super surprised that Evan Ross decided to take a role in this movie, I mean, kinda awkward given his mother's amazing performance in Lady Sings the Blues. You would think he would have at least ….paused? LOL I dunno.

Bradley Brown says:

Fish jelly I'm big fan of your YouTube movie review show. Even more cool that yall openly gay males And also gay couple that not fight but giving out great info and couple support and details is really cool and refreshing to see on YouTube. Idk if you do request for movie reviews. but I have a great movie for yall to do a movie review on. And movie is called boarding school and it's on Amazon prime video. I'll would be very greatful if yall do a movie review on this movie. And definitely give yall dumbs up. It's a horror thriller but not over top killing but a interesting plot seance and story's. Wish yall all greatest best and more success

Emanuel Lawton says:

A new incarnation of "Lady Sings the Blues" with Diana Ross.I will be interested in seeing how the two compare.

Kari Watson says:

Between Seberg, Judas and the Black Messiah, and this, seems like Hollywood is really coming for the FBI's wig lately lol

butistay woke says:

Joseph is spot on when he speaks on how many black don’t care for lee Daniels films because of his negative portrayals of black people. It called black trauma porn. Many people have only seen Precious once for that reason.

R N says:

By the way everyone..Lady Sings The Blues will be on BluRay disk for the first time later this month! Check out Amazon for the updated cover art and information! Very adorable too.

Curtis Michael says:

I enjoyed "the paperboy" too and always thought it should have been better received when it was originally released.

Brutus Alwaysmind says:

Just to be clear 'Lady Day' didn't get that name because of her prison sentence time (was that just a pun?). Lester Young (Pres "President", the name Billie gave Lester) was responsible for that moniker. He dubbed people he liked Lady this and Lady that. The biggest surprise is that Susan Lori-Parks (Pulitzer Prize winner for Topdog/Underdog) wrote the screenplay, which sounds like the source of the problems you two point out. Too bad. Thanks!

Devon Smith says:
