A new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 image reveals the full look at Will Poulter's Adam Warlock. The highly anticipated film installment of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy features a returning cast of characters led by Chris Pratt's Star-Lord and Zoe SaldaΓ±a's Gamora. One of the most exciting new additions to the franchise is Adam Warlock, a powerful cosmic hero from the comics who Will Poulter plays in the movie. His arrival comes six years after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's post-credits scenes set up his creation as a direct tease that he would factor into the trilogy capper.
The Adam Warlock costume in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 retains some of the key characteristics of the comics, while also updating his look for the MCU. The golden skin and hair are standard for Adam Warlock, which is why the Sovereign in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 had the same appearance. The stone in Adam Warlock's head is not an Infinity Stone like it is in the comics, though. He also keeps the red and gold color scheme to his costume, as well as his usual red cape.
