While the Fast and Furious time travel theories may be too far-fetched, Fast X seems to be revisiting the franchise’s past in some way. Following the announcement of several cast additions such as Brie Larson and Jason Momoa, plus the departure of Justin Lin from the project, not much has been revealed about Fast X. The tenth film in the Fast and Furious saga is set to be the beginning of the end for the series as Fast & Furious 11 will wrap up the stories of Dom Toretto and his family. That said, there have been enough teases for audiences to at least theorize what will Fast & Furious 10 be about.
After a set picture suggested that Dom’s old charger from The Fast and the Furious (2001) and Fast & Furious (2009) would make a comeback in Fast X, theories on Fast and Furious dealing with time travel gain some track. Although time travel might be too much even for Fast and Furious, it seems like the Fast & Furious 10 cast is playing with the idea of going back in time. Ludacris, who plays Tej in Fast and Furious, revealed in an Instagram stories that Tej will appear with his 2 Fast 2 Furious look at some point in Fast X. The caption chosen by Ludacris, “History repeats itself #FastX”, further fuels the time travel theories.
