Kids movies, by their very nature, are generally quite lighthearted and innocent. Anything that's aimed at the younger generation should have as little offensive material in it as possible - but that's not always the case.Disney in particular - as you'll see in this video - are guilty of some truly terrible racism. Granted, most of the movies in this video are quite old - so it's a tiny bit more understandable - but there are some modern movies - both Disney and non-Disney - that have some really shocking racism and racial stereotyping in them. In recent times, Disney have become known for their sensitivity and awareness about being politically correct. This year, for example, they've tried to tackle the subject of racism quite admirably in Zootopia, but other movies can't say the same. So, let's take a look at ten offensively racist moments in kids movies that you never noticed.

There’s no denying that the script is one of the most important aspects of a film. It’s the source of the story, characters, and great lines of dialogue that hopefully will form a strong connection with the audience. But the screenplay is more of a guideline than anything else. There are no rules that state directors and actors need to stick to what’s on the page. Filmmaking is a fluid creative process, and ideas can be thought up on the spot. In fact, some of the most iconic movie moments were ad-libs. Here are 10 memorable movie scenes that were completely improvised.

There are a lot of reasons to pause a movie scene but with Disney films it is usually to see something an animator accidentally or intentionally added. Maybe it was something they were hoping no one would notice or an Easter Egg. That is the glory of Blu-Ray and DVD’s, in the theater you can’t pause a scene when you think you saw something. Yet, at your own house you can stop the film to see if you really just saw that. Here is Screen Rant’s list of ten Most Paused Scenes in Popular Disney Movies.

Disney and Pixar are both cornerstones in the world of animation, putting out some of the best and most iconic films in the animated medium. Having worked together since the 1990’s, it makes sense that the animation powerhouses would share more than a few similarities, but since Disney acquired Pixar in 2006 it’s gotten harder to tell the difference between the two. It used to be the case that you could tell Disney and Pixar apart just by looking, but this isn’t always the case now. As it stands though, there are still a few ways to tell the two apart, and that’s what we’re taking a look at today.

When Disney solely used hand-drawn animation, there was no problem. But Disney now favour digital, and the style isn’t so different from Pixar that it can always be told apart at first glance. Disney have broke tradition to produce films like Zootopia, and Pixar went into it to produce Brave. In both cases, it’s been common for people to think they were done by the opposite animation house.

We take a look at how Disney are known for their catchy karaoke worthy musical numbers. And how the art in both shares some similarities, but how both production companies have their own unique twists on their styles.

Pixar also has a better grounding in reality than Disney, which shows through in their worlds, their creation of character, and their story telling, whilst Disney favours fairy tales and old stories.

The differences can be broken down into once upon a time, or what if?

Animated villains are great. They give conflict for our heroes and watching their ludicrous plans out before us is always a treat. But what if those villains we always thought were evil were actually more in the right than we thought? Many villains are actually misunderstood and chastised by society, resulting in characters who can get a bit extreme. Take Hades for example, from Hercules. He ended up getting a really lame job despite him being a god. Everyone else gets to live on Olympus but Hades lives out his life in the underworld with the dead. Poor guy. Lotso from Toy Story 3 was just looking out for the other toys while Sid in the first film had no idea he was inflicting any harm. To him, the toys were just plastic. Plus his upbringing was definitely questionable. Syndrome from the Incredibles just wanted everyone to have superpowers after being shut down by the lead character while Maleficent just wanted to be included. Gaston from Beauty and the Beast actually just wanted to marry Belle and when she was taken, brought a mob together to get her back. Sure, he was a giant tool, but at least he wasn’t holding a girl against her will and throwing violent tantrums. Hook from Peter Pan was totally in the right if you think about it too, as he lost his hand to the boy who steals children from their home and brings them to Neverland. Ursula was exiled in the Little Mermaid and went full angry mode when her pet eels died. Understandable.

Disney may be a major studio, but it started small, which meant its animators had to bring people, animals, and magical creatures to life better than any one. When they did just that - and didn't have the budget to bankroll million-dollar movies - the animators decided NOT to start from scratch. Instead, they traced over animation that had already been released. And if you think it's just a case of copying a handful of frames, we've got a surprise for you! Although it's not a universal rule, in general, the best superhero movie adaptation are faithful to the comic books they're based on - and that includes in terms of the character aesthetics. The likes of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Batman and Superman have always at least heavily resembled their comic book counterparts when they've appeared on screen, for example. However, for various reasons, a number of characters in superhero movies have been barely recognizable in terms of their physical appearance when compared to the source material. In most cases, this results in a fan backlash - which kind of makes you wonder why the movie-makers thought it was a good idea to change the way they look in the first place.`In this video, we'll take a look at some of the most extreme examples. https://youtu.be/LAyypob-psk

Most Disney movies are all sweetness and light, right? Sure, there are moments of tragedy - Bambi's mother being shot and Simba's father falling to his death reduced EVERYONE who witnessed them to tears - but, in general, the movies are all 100% child-friendly. Or so they seem on the surface. But there are actually some theories that turn some Disney movies into terribly dark affairs. Interpreting these movies in such twisted ways might seem a little morbid, but it's actually pretty fun and intriguing, so we've made a video about it! We hope you enjoy it - and please make sure you subscribe to our channel so you can keep coming back to watch more like it. Here are ten Disney theories that turn into the darkest movies ever.

Not only are there a lot of subliminal messages in Disney films, there is also a lot of racism.
In Dumbo, the main black crows name is Jim Crow and all of his followers have speech and mannerisms that depict African-Americans. Sebastian in The Little Mermaid has a Jamaican accent and sings about how life is easy when you don’t have many responsibilities. Many people think this was a jab at Jamaicans for being lazy. The alley cats in the Aristocats are all foreign. There’s a Chinese cat, a Russian cat, and a womanizing Italian cat. The Native Americans in Peter pan all sing about how the Native Americans received their complexion. The Siamese cats in The Lady and Tramp are named Si and Am and resemble the typical Asian stereotype with slanted eyes and buck teeth. The apes in The Jungle Book have British English accents, talk in jive, and sing like Louie Armstrong. There were plenty of Arab stereotypes in Aladdin especially in the beginning of the song where they are labeled as barbaric and will cut your ear off if they don’t like your face. The hyenas in The Lion King were looked down upon by the lions. They also lived in the elephant graveyard which seemed to represent the ghetto. In Pocahontas, the Native Americans were either seen as ruthless savages, or noble savages. Disney was being progressive when they had their first black princess in The Princess and the Frog. Fans were outraged at the fact that the Prince’s race was a little ambiguous. Well, what did you think of this list?

Animated films are produced painstakingly slow, so naturally it would make sense for them to be completely polished… right? Wrong! Not even these classic animated movies are exempt. From Toy Story to The Lion King, check out these 10 shocking mistakes you missed in famous animated movies.

There are a lot of movies out there that are changed for global audiences. Check out this list we compiled for you. The cupcakes which Randall Boggs makes in Monster’s University were changed to smiley faces in the international versions. The speech made by Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 2 featured a spinning globe and fireworks instead of the American flag. The Chinese version of Iron Man had lengthened scenes and even added a few extras. Riley from Inside Out was a soccer fan instead of hockey in some international releases. The broccoli her father tried to feed her when she was a kid was changed to a green pepper in the Japanese version. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End featured a lot less of Chinese actor Chow Yun-Fat in their version of the movie. In Zootopia, different animals played the newscasters depending on which country the movie would be played in. Prior to Steven Spielberg’s 2012 release of Lincoln, there was a brief history lesson to inform people from other countries who Abraham Lincoln was and what he did for our nation. In Stanley Kubrick’s, The Shining, the manuscript that Jack Torrance was writing was changed with sayings from all over the world depending on where it was played. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the Cap has a to-do list of cultural things he needs to check out. The list was changed due to different parts of the world. Vin Diesel had to say “I am Groot” in 15 different languages for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Pixar is known for making great family films, but some people have really examined the stories and content to find things that are much darker. It’s time to look back on your fond childhood memories of the Toy Story franchise and showcase some of the darker things you may have never realized.

Sid is often viewed as the villain of the first Toy Story film, but he may not have truly been evil. Sid obviously lives in a dysfunctional family and it’s neglect that has turned him the way he is. In the original Toy Story, if you take a look at Andy’s friends, they are not actually any different at all. They are all clones of the original Andy. Toy Story 3 has been connected to a lot of crazy things, including the Illuminati. Toy Story represented a huge change to the company at the time and the characters of Buzz and Woody both represent these crazy changes. Andy’s father is never mentioned or seen in the Toy Story films, but there have been multiple mentions that he has died and is not in the picture. Andy and his sister, Molly are obsessed with people who are obsessed with material things. The films showcase a lot of marxism because of this. The toys are obviously dedicated to Andy, but there are rumors that the toys are actually immortal and only die if they are crushed or burned. Jesse’s true owner may have been a character you knew the whole time. Toy Story has also been connected to many different things including the holocaust and the Walking Dead.

Disney movies may be catered towards children, but there are plenty of moments, jokes, and innuendo directed towards the parents. As a young child watches Disney films, it’s easy to get up in the songs, stories, and lively animation, but some of the more bizarre moments can be interpreted completely different than you ever expected. Thanks to digital HD copies, people are watching Disney films in a whole new light. This includes pausing specific frames, analyzing scenes, and capturing hidden moments that the animators never intended in the first place.

Watch to see some of these paused moments in all their glory. No Disney classic is left unturned as there are revealing moments from Disney classics like The Jungle Book, Cinderella, and Pinocchio. Modern Disney films may also feature these moments that can be misinterpreted. This includes Frozen, Aladdin, and Tangled among others. The moments include sexual innuendo, controversial scenes, and characters showcasing expressions you may have missed the first time around. Some of these screenshots will make you laugh while others will make you reanalyze the whole movie and wonder if there was some secret message all along.

We all love animated films right? They’re not only fun but full of memorable characters and most importantly, breathtaking animations. They help take us to new worlds or to see our world in a different light. But despite the attention to detail that goes into them, mistakes still happen. Take Disney’s Frozen, which has it’s fair share of mistakes but the one we’re talking about this time focuses on a certain snowman named Marshmallow. Other Disney and Pixar films have made mistakes, such as Finding Dory, Big Hero 6, Zootopia and Moana. They all look gorgeous but still have something that draws us out a bit. But it’s not all Disney and it’s not all for kids. Batman: The Killing Joke is definitely not for kids but still remains one of the most talked about and polarizing films of that year. One animation mistake can be found during one such scene that divided fans. Other films include the return of Spongebob Squarepants to the big screen and of course, the Minions, who are always up to no good it seems. Luckily for them, this mistake actually has nothing to do with them specifically so they’re off the hook this time. The Peanuts Movie saw the return of Charlie Brown and Snoopy to the big screen yet despite it’s unique and charming animation style, was also the victim of some animation mistakes. Cars 3 raced into cinemas so we looked back at the first Cars, which had an usual cow tipping scene which caused the film one of its biggest mistakes.

Disney, Pixar and other Animated Movies That Make Kids Feel Awkward Around Parents including Despicable Me, Cars, and Frozen! Subscribe to our channel : http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

Description:

Animated kid films are a treat for the whole family more often than not. Combining clever humor, amazing characters and beautiful worlds, animation has the power to truly transport its viewers to another place in the most vibrant and creative way possible. Since it’s main demographic is children, many studios and animators slip in some crude humor or adult content in the films that will go under the radar of the young ones. But what happens when the penny drops and kids start getting the jokes? Such innocent films like Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3, Tangled, Inside Out and even cult favorites like Atlantis: The Lost Empire start to look a whole less innocent. Whether it’s some “romantic” humor that’s a bit more grown up, to flaunting it anyway you can, these films have some moments that are sure to make kids feel a little awkward once they understand what the animators REALLY meant. From Incredibles references to a somebody named Tom who has a peeping problem to Zooptopia’ Judy referencing a bunny’s ability to multiply quickly, these films definitely had their moments that jacked up the awkward level once kids grew to get it. Perhaps even some parents shared in the awkwardness once they were faced with some unexpected questions at the dinner table. Leave it to the animators to have the last laugh!

Acting, by its very definition, involves performing a fictional role. When performing a fictional role and pretending to be somebody else, an actor has to project that character's traits - which range from their speech and intelligence, to their body language and skills. The latter of those traits - the skills - can often be difficult to convey, which is why, in a lot of cases, actors actually have to learn new skills to convincingly become another person on screen. In this video, we'll take a look at just some of the skills that actors have had to become proficient at in order to portray certain characters on the big screen. Here are ten crazy skills actors had to learn for movie roles.
