Poor candyman

Spider Rocket says:

In the words of Director Nia DaCosta “CANDYMAN, at the intersection of white violence and black pain, is about unwilling martyrs. The people they were, the symbols we turn them into, the monsters we are told they must have been.” In short people like Eric Gardner, George Floyd etc are not Martyrs because they paragons of sainthood they are martyrs because they are victims of a system that shoots, kills, and murders black men first and ask questions later. I’m now way more stoked for this film then I was before

tomwebermusic says:

I am so excited for this film! Tony Todd is so awesome as the original Candyman but I can’t wait to see the new direction the series takes! Btw, this shadow puppet trailer rocks!!!

Shows that the ghost of racism will haunt America forever unless it finds a way to make peace with it.

LightningTTfan14 says:

This makes me want to cry. It's so beautifully made, but so haunting at the same time; the events are based on real horrific and racist acts against African Americans, and it hurts, but I'm glad it's touched on. Especially with what's going on these days.

Mike Hogan says:

The original scared the hell out of me, I watched it when I was 10. But this makes me want to revisit it. Frankie Boyle had a good interpretation about the movie on his instagram a few weeks back

shannon1242 says:

Love it. You sometimes see these type of story trailers for video games but not movies. Philip Glass score is iconic. Original Candyman is my favorite horror movie. Excited for this.

Elisabeth Jondahl says:

OMG wow. Incredible trailer. I can't wait.

rexmage says:

This isn't a trailer for the film. It was put out by the director to bring light to the horrific violence that has been and is still committed against African Americans.

anarchy 1408 says:

Helens theme music but don't in a much more haunting tone. I need this new version of the theme

bodyrocker1988 says:

This trailer deserves an award on its own.

OSCAR Wilson Jr. says:

This is going to be a classic in the world of Black Horror Cinema!!
